Marine gas oil (MGO)
Refined Petroleum Distillate
Marine Diesel (MGO) is a refined petroleum distillate widely used in the global maritime industry. It powers the engines and generators of ships and other vessels.
It serves as the cleanest alternative to traditional heavy fuels, as shipping companies strive to reduce emissions and comply with international regulations.
Very low sulfure fuel oil (VLSFO)
VLSFO, which stands for Very Low Sulfur Fuel Oil, represents a category of marine fuels designed to comply with the 2020 regulations of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), which limit the sulfur content in ship fuels to 0.5% by weight, a significant reduction from the previous limit of 3.5%.
High Sulphure Fuel Oil (HSFO)
Also known as Intermediate Fuel Oil, is a commonly used residual fuel oil in marine engines and industrial applications. It is a blend of distilled and residual fuels, resulting in an intermediate fuel oil that meets the needs of various combustion equipment.
